The following are the programs, projects, and empowerment interventions that we have carried out within our 1st year of official kickoff as a Non-Governmental/Non-Profit Making Organisation by the special grace of God and to God’s glory and honour:

500. Registration of the NGO with the Corporate Affairs Commission, getting the EFCC-SCUML Certificate to operate a bank account and Account opening costed us a total of N84,500.
501. While the inauguration program/occasion held costed us a total of N190,700.

 

1. Here is the list of the 7 beneficiaries that were in the 1^st batch empowered when we kicked-off in November 2019 to the glory of God with a total amount of N240,000 (Two Hundred and Forty Thousand Naira):
2. Paying of University 2^nd Year School fees for Miss Zainab Adetunji with N91,000.
3. Supporting Master Oluwaseun Ogunlana with the payment of his Polytechnic HND 2 School fees with N5,000.
4. Payment of WAEC fees and SS3 School fees for Miss Happiness Ozuome with N82,000.
5. Payment of WAEC fees for Miss Precious Anyadiegwu with N35,000.
6. Payment of NECO fees for Master Rahmon Oluwasegun with N15,000.
7. Payment of JAMB fees for Miss Chinyere Elebor with N6,000.
8. Payment of JAMB fees for Master Onyeka Ofulue with N6,000.

 

1. The 2^nd Batch Empowerment projects executed from November 2019 to February 2020 cost a total amount of N188,000 (One Hundred and Eighty-Eight Thousand Naira), for 6 beneficiaries/projects:
2. Opening and hosting of the NGO Website- nuyef.org at a cost of N50,000
3. Payment of LASPOTECH HND school fees for Master Emmanuel Biolatiri for N28,000
4. Enrollment of Master Emmanuel Peter into SS1 at Lagos Govt School Okota for N40,000
5. School Fees support to Miss Shoyinka Rofiat Abosede; at LASPOTECH ND1 with N5,000
6. School Fees support to Miss Oluwatumininu Hassan at YabaTech ND1 Part Time with N20,000
7. Distribution of Covid 19 Face Shields to some persons & to some of our partners for N45,000

 

1. In the 3^rd phase of our empowerment interventions, we were able to execute one of the big projects we wrote down as a plan last year which was to set up a mini-ICT center where children, youths and Adults can get free computer and IT trainings. In accomplishing this, the Church RCCG Strong Grace Parish where we were is in partnership with us by giving us the venue to use. So, we were able to procure the following at a total cost of N116,000 (One Hundred and Sixteen Thousand Naira) in July 2020:
2. 2 Laptops of Dual Core 2G Ram & 250G HDD with their chargers at N70,000
3. A 3in1 Printer at N18,000
4. Iron Cabinet with 4 drawers own for safe keeping of the equipment atN25,000
5. A4 Rim paper at N1,500
6. Network cable of 5 yards (won’t be costly, I couldn’t get to where they sell it)
7. -RJ45 connectors and LAN cable for networking trainings at N1,500.
8. F. The 4^th Batch Empowerment projects executed from July 2020 to November 2020 cost a total amount of N276,500 (Two Hundred and Seventy-Six Thousand and Five Hundred Naira), for 7 beneficiaries/projects:
9. 6months Business non-interest loan to Mrs Chinedu Onuchukwu of N50,000 (July – Jan. 2021)
10. 3 months Business non-interest loan to Mrs Ruth Ozuome of N50,000 (Aug. – Nov. 2020)
11. 3 months Business non-interest loan to Mr Gbenga Adewuji of N50,000 (Sept. – Dec. 2020)
12. 6 months Business non-interest loan to Mr Aloysius Ubah of N50,000 (Nov. – May. 2021)
13. School fees payment for the child (Mojeed Akanni) of Mrs Akanni Bukki at N21,500
14. Sewing Machine purchase support for Miss Esther Akpebele at N30,000
15. NUYEF NGO website hosting for one Year (Dec. 2020- Dec. 2021) renewal at the cost of N25,000

 

1. We rolled out a One Month free Intensive IT And Business Skills Training on the following 7 courses: –Customer Service Experience, –Digital Marketing Experience, –Graphic Design, –Sales Representative Skills, –Fashion Design Basic Skills, –Computer Engineering, and –Computing Basics. And we had about 48 persons that registered but later had only about 23 participants.

TOTAL SPENT IN OUR JOURNEY SO FAR AS SHOWN IN THE A-F ABOVE PROGRAMS, PROJECTS AND EMPOWERMENT INTERVENTIONS SUMS UP TO N1,095,700 (One Million, Ninety-Five Thousand and Seven Hundred Naira), all these are by the special grace of God as this can only be God at the center of it all!

We want to thank specially the partners and sponsors of this great NGO for believing in this divine mandate and vision and have committed themselves to driving it to fulfilment by the grace of God with their resources and wealth of knowledge and wisdom. May God Almighty because of whom you have partnered with us open more doors of greatness and financial abundance to you all in Jesus name!

We look forward to more financial supports/sponsors in other to continue carrying out more batches of our Empowerment Visions, Programs, Projects, and Interventions, of changing and imparting the lives of many around us to the glory of God.

To my able Board of Trustee members who have always been there for the NGO and all volunteers who have been giving in their all for the success of all that we set out to achieve, may God also show up for you whenever you need Him in Jesus name.

SUCCESS STORIES FROM SOME OF THOSE EMPOWERED:

1. Miss Happiness Ozuome that was sponsored in her WAEC and SS3 fees when all hope was lost due to the family challenges got the NGO intervention, wrote the WAEC and came out with 2As, 5Bs and 2Cs.
2. Miss Precious Anyadiegwu that was sponsored in her WAEC when all hope was also lost due to the family challenges got the NGO intervention, wrote the WAEC and came out with 1B, 5Cs, 2Ds and 1E.
3. Miss Chinyere Elebor that was sponsored in her JAMB when all hope was lost due to her family challenges got the NGO intervention, wrote the JAMB and scored 175.
4. Payment of JAMB fees for Master Onyeka Ofulue also sponsored in JAMB scored 224.

 

Here are the needs and projects the NGO still have to make more impacts and touch more lives:

1. To rent or acquire an office space/building for the NGO.
2. A Projector to enhance the training and all our programs.
3. Finances to be able to sponsor more youths on some more professional IT courses that our ICT center will not be able to train them on.
4. Finances to sponsor more students with educational empowerment up to the university level to make sure no child drops out of school or is unable to go to school at all levels.
5. Finances to empower more youths with any type of skill acquisition training, intellectual capacity building and entrepreneurship/business startup or support they need.
6. Finances to set up/rent a hostel/accommodation for stranded youths (Male and Female) who have no place to put up while being empowered with what they want to be empowered on.
7. Finances to be able to carry out and host all our programs, logistics and costs.

These and many more are the targets and plans we have for the less privileged and vulnerable children and youths who need to be rescued from poverty and empowered physically with what they need to succeed in life and also help them to become useful instruments in God’s hand as we seek to offer godly and Christian training, mentorship and discipleship to all of them monthly by God’s grace.
